Ring magnets are a specialized type of magnet that share similarities with cylinder magnet or disc magnet but feature a distinctive center hole. This central hole is a key design element that allows for versatile mounting and attachment options.

Unlike countersunk magnets, which have a tapered hole for flush mounting, the central hole in a ring magnet is plain, making it ideal for securing onto a rod, shaft, or other cylindrical objects. Additionally, this plain hole design enables the ring magnet to be easily fixed in place using a non-countersunk bolt, screw, or other fasteners.

What grades & shapes are available for neodymium magnets?

Grades N35, N38, N40, N42, N48, N50, and N52 ( M, H, SH, UH, EH, AH series ) are available for all shapes & sizes of NdFeB magnets.

  Magnetization Direction 

Common direction of magnetization showed in picture bellow: 

• Disc, cylinder and Ring shape magnet can be magnetized Axially or Diametricall.
• Rectangle magnets can be magnetized through Thickness, Length or Width.
• Arc shape magnets can be magnetized Diametrically, through Width or Thickness.

 Grade & Coating 

Support all magnet plating , like Ni-Cu-Ni, Zn, Epoxy , Gold,  Silver etc.

• Neodymium magnets are made of Neodymium, Iron and Boron.  If left to the elements, the iron in magnet will rust.

To protect the magnet from corrosion and to strengthen the brittle magnet material, it is usually preferable for the magnet to be coated.

• There are a variety of options for coatings, but nickel is the most common and usually preferred. 

Our nickel plated magnets are actually triple plated with layers of nickel, copper, and nickel again. This triple coating makes  magnets much more durable than the more common single nickel plated magnets.

• Other options of coating are zinc, tin, copper, epoxy,silver and gold.
